Unveiling the Cannon
From left, MSU President Mark E. Keenum joins MSU Dean of Libraries Frances Coleman, Ulysses S. Grant Association Executive Director John Marszalek and Starkville Civil War Arsenal Curator Duffy Neubauer in celebrating the February unveiling of a new cannon outside the Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library. The cannon, commissioned in 1846, is on loan to the university from the Mississippi Department of Archives and History.
