Mississippi State University took top honors during the Halbrook Awards for Academic Achievement Among Athletes ceremony held October 5 as part of the 2015 Mississippi Association of Colleges and Universities Annual Conference. MSU was the winner in the Public University Division for the highest percentage of both male and female athletes graduating. The Halbrook Awards program recognizes colleges and universities that maintain and achieve high academic standards for student athletes, thus encouraging high graduation rates.
