Congratulating Miss Mississippi
MSU President Mark E. Keenum welcomed Miss Mississippi and MSU senior communications major Emmie Perkins of Oak Grove to his office in August to congratulate her on the statewide win. The two also talked about Perkins’ platform “Music is Medicine” which is part of her bid for the Miss America crown later this year.
