The MSU College of Veterinary Medicine Class of 2024 Bardsley Scholars are pictured with CVM Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Jack Smith and MSU President Mark E. Keenum. Each year, eight to 12 entering DVM students are selected as recipients of the Bardsley Scholarship based on grade point average, extracurricular activities and leadership potential. The scholars must maintain a 3.5 GPA in their studies at CVM and are given preferential scheduling and leadership development opportunities. The scholarships are made possible by a gift from the estate of Dr. Charles and Viola Bardsley, who lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and took a special interest in the College of Veterinary Medicine.
