Bulldog Battalion
MSU President Mark E. Keenum, left, and Lt. Col. Jason R. Posey met in September to discuss the university’s Army ROTC battalion, which prepares students to become innovators and leaders for the 21st century. Military instruction has been important throughout the 142-year-old land grant university’s history, with today’s students committed to developing professional knowledge necessary to become an officer in the U.S. Armed Forces; a strong sense of personal integrity, individual responsibility and honor; and an appreciation of the requirements of national security.
