A Statesman Helmet
During a February visit to Washington, D.C., MSU President Mark E. Keenum presents U.S. Rep. Michael Guest, R-Miss., a Congressman G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery memorial “Statesman” football helmet from the Bulldog tribute football uniform designed this year to honor Montgomery. Guest, an MSU alumnus, now holds Montgomery’s seat in Mississippi’s Third Congressional District, which includes MSU.
