The Tennessee Valley Authority recognized Mississippi State in November with a 2018 Carbon Reduction Award for improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions. Served by Starkville Utilities, MSU has implemented efficiency measures saving over $55 million over the past decade in utility costs.
