Duvall, a third-generation farmer from Georgia who has been president of AFBF since 2016, visited MSU for meetings with university leaders and tours of campus facilities. The meeting also included (left-right) MSU Associate Vice President for the Division of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine Bill Herndon; AFBF Director of Executive Communications and Projects Lynne Finnerty; MSU Vice President for the Division of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine Gregory Bohach; (Keenum); Mississippi Farm Bureau Vice President for Central Mississippi Ted Kendall IV; (Duvall); and AFBF National Affairs Coordinator Justin Ferguson. Duvall’s time at MSU included meetings with experts in areas such as global fish health, avian flu preparedness, cotton genomics, on-farm water recovery and storage, forestry, farm policy, invasive pests and other topics.
