MSU President Mark E. Keenum presented a Bible to the Shalisha Owens family at the dedication ceremony for their new home Thursday [Dec. 17] at 104 Owens St. in Starkville. Built as the seventh annual project partnership between the MSU Maroon Edition program and the Starkville Area Habitat for Humanity, the 1,200 square-foot house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Shalisha is a single mother of four children, ranging from 7-16 years old.
