MSU officials including, from left, former coach Al Schmidt, track coach Steve Dudley, MSU President Mark E. Keenum, MSU Athletic Director Scott Stricklin, Nan and Mike Sanders, as well as additional members of their family, celebrated the official naming of the renovated MSU track and field complex as the "Mike Sanders Track and Field Complex" on April 10. Sanders was a 1962 MSU track athlete and the university's 2014 National Alumnus of the Year.
