Dr. and Mrs. Mark E. Keenum recently hosted a reception for the university's scholars enrolled in the Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program. The program is a collaboration between MSU and the University of Mississippi to train top-performing students in English and mathematics education, with the graduates committing to teach for at least five years in the state's public school system.
