Dear Colleagues,
Words cannot express how thankful I am to be a part of the Mississippi State University Family this year. Together, we have faced one of the most challenging times in our institution’s history, and I am most appreciative of your commitment to your work and your dedication to our students and the communities we serve.
In order to say thank you and to take advantage of an energy-savings opportunity, the university will close at noon on Wednesday, November 25, the day before Thanksgiving. Established policies and procedures related to work on a holiday, if required, will apply.
Commencement ceremonies will continue as planned on this day, and I appreciate all who are working to make these special events a success for our graduates and their friends and families.
My family and I hope that each one of you has a happy Thanksgiving holiday — and a very safe one, too.
