Dear Colleagues,
Mississippi State has done it again! For the third year in a row, positive feedback from MSU employees has helped designate our university as a “Great College to Work For” by The Chronicle of Higher Education.
In addition, MSU received top rankings in nine of 12 recognition categories – our highest number yet for this program. Based on our performance, Mississippi State was again named to The Chronicle’s Honor Roll, a distinction for institutions that are cited most often across all recognition categories.
Mississippi State could not have received this prestigious honor without the participation of faculty, administrators and staff. If you responded to The Chronicle’s survey invitation, thank you! Your feedback has provided insights into our workplace culture that can help us create a more inviting, supportive and inclusive work environment.
By providing positive experiences for employees and students, there’s really no end to what MSU is capable of achieving. We’re seeing proof in record-setting enrollment, fundraising, research grants, athletics, and awards and honors. Being named a great place to work for the third consecutive year reinforces MSU’s standing as one of the nation’s leading universities and an employer of choice. It’s one more reason to be #StateProud!
Sincerely,
Mark E. Keenum, President
Mississippi State University
