MSU President Mark E. Keenum, fourth from left, participated in a ribbon cutting for the university’s automated composite stitching cell in mid April. Installed in MSU’s Advanced Composites Institute, the integrated industrial system is the first commissioned, U.S.-based automated structure of its kind. Pictured, from left, are Wayne Huberty, Jim Martin, Scott Willard, Keenum, and Chris Bounds, all representing MSU; Gerard Roose, Inteva Products; Andrea Rose, Appalachian Regional Commission; and Crisler Herndon, MSU.
