At the end of August, USA Today Sports Network revealed its ranking of the “25 Most Powerful People in College Football,” with Mississippi State President Mark E. Keenum making the list. Having served since 2018 as chair of the College Football Playoff’s Board of Managers, Keenum was identified among those “exerting the greatest influence over the direction of college athletics,” stated USA Today.
