Giles and Grisham Awardees
MSU President Mark E. Keenum, center, presented awards in August to top faculty award winners including industrial and systems engineering professor Leslie Stawderman, second from right, recipient of the William L. Giles Distinguished Professor Award, the highest honor the university bestows upon a faculty member for outstanding research, teaching and service. Strawderman was joined by Grisham Master Teacher Award winners, from left, Landscape Architecture Associate Professor Peter Summerlin, Quantitative Analysis Instructor II Iva Ballard and Political Science Associate Professor Benjamin Tkach. The Grisham Award spotlights those demonstrating excellence in the classroom and instruction.
