Curt Brown, left, retired U.S. Air Force colonel and six-time space shuttle veteran, visited MSU President Mark E. Keenum’s office in March to help celebrate the university’s Astronaut Scholars Spencer Lile, second from left, and James “Brittin” Perdue. The NASA astronauts continue to support the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation’s mission of STEM education and networking, awarding over $10 million to more than 900 students since its 1984 inception.
