Honoring Puckett’s Public Service

At the spring 2025 graduation ceremonies, Puckett Machinery Company Chairman Richard H. Puckett, left, was greeted by MSU President Mark E. Keenum just minutes before receiving a Doctor of Public Service honorary degree from the university. Puckett, a 1977 College of Business graduate and MSU’s 2009 Alumnus of the Year, Puckett has supported the institutions in various capacities, including as a member of the College of Business Executive Advisory Board, MSU Foundation and West Side Fund Board.
