Rawlins Papers Donated

A special collection of correspondence, papers and memorabilia providing insight into the relationship between former President Ulysses S. Grant and former Secretary of War John Rawlins now resides at Mississippi State’s U.S. Grant Presidential Library. Making the donation were longtime MSU supporters Turner and Gloria Wingo, center. Also taking part in the announcement were, from left, Lis Pankl, professor and dean of libraries; Mark E. Keenum, MSU president; Anne Marshall, executive director, Ulysses W. Grant Presidential Library at MSU; and Ryan Semmes, USGPL research director.
