As MSU President Mark E. Keenum, right, welcomed new students at Move In Days in August, he assisted new Bulldog Aftyn Rankins in transporting her belongings into her new room. Aftyn is the daughter of MSU alumnus Dr. Alfred “Al” Rankins Jr. who currently serves as Commissioner of Higher Education for the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning.
