METP Scholars

Graduating seniors participating in the Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program, along with College of Education administrators, joined MSU President Mark E. Keenum at his home for a luncheon to celebrate the achievements of classes graduating in upcoming May and December commencement ceremonies. With funding from the Robert M. Hearin Support Foundation, the teacher preparation program provides both scholarships and an honors college-type experience for top students. The program is designed to attract the best and brightest students from around the nation.
