Due to a lack of agenda items for consideration in October, an email vote on one policy update was held instead of the regularly scheduled meeting of the Executive Council. The update of OP 91.122: Students with Disabilities consists of changes to further clarify eligibility, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (“Rehabilitation Act”), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act of 2008 (“ADAAA”) in the programs, facilities, and opportunities MSU offers to students. Council members voted to approve the update.
