Executive Council met at 1:30 p.m. at Lee Hall. Present were Dr. Mark E. Keenum, presiding, Dr. Judy Bonner, Ms. Susan Brooks, Dr. Timothy Chamblee, Ms. Mayah Emerson, Ms. Lesia Ervin, Dr. Brent Fountain, Dr. Regina Hyatt, Ms. Joan Lucas, Ms. Mary McLendon, Dr. Reuben Moore, Mr. Steve Parrott, Mr. John Rush, Dr. David Shaw, Ms. Judy Spencer, Ms. Amy Tuck, Mr. Don Zant and Mr. Jim Laird.

Ms. Spencer presented a revision of OP 60.401, Guidelines for Employee Conduct. This update adds workplace bullying as inappropriate employee conduct, and also now notes that resources related to misconduct are available on Human Resources Management’s website. The Council recommended approval.

Mr. Zant presented a revision of OP 62.01, Travel. This update adds a section outlining the process for international travel requests and authorizations. The Council recommended approval.

In conjunction with the update of OP 62.01, a rescission of OP 30.07, International Travel to Destination with State Department Warning, was presented. With approval of the change made to OP 62.01 listed above, OP 30.07 is no longer needed. The Council recommended approval.
