Executive Council met at 1:30 p.m. at Lee Hall. Present were Dr. Mark E. Keenum, presiding, Dr. Greg Bohach, Dr. Timothy Chamblee, Ms. Lesia Ervin, Dr. Brent Fountain, Ms. Joy Graves, Dr. Regina Hyatt, Ms. Joan Lucas, Ms. Mary McLendon, Mr. Steve Parrott, Mr. John Rush, Ms. Judy Spencer, Ms. Elizabeth Thomas, Mr. Jason Townsend, Ms. Amy Tuck and Mr. Jim Laird.

Ms. Ervin presented a revision of OP 04.01, Internal Audit Services. There are no significant changes in the update. The Council recommended approval.

Ms. Spencer presented a revision of HRM 60.405, Separation from Employment/Change of Position. The proposed update streamlines the process when an employee separation occurs, and provides additional guidance for steps to be taken when an employee changes position within the University. The Council recommended approval.

Dr. Hyatt presented a revision of OP 91.100, Code of Student Conduct. In addition to minor changes, the revision includes the addition of a section on medical amnesty at the request of the Student Association and a section on degree revocation. The Council recommended approval of the revision after the degree revocation section was removed. It will be considered for a separate policy.

Dr. Bohach presented a revision of OP 79.09, Transportation of Hazardous Materials or Dangerous Goods. There are no significant changes in the update. The Council recommended approval.
