Executive Council met at 1:30 p.m. at Lee Hall. Present were Dr. Mark Keenum, presiding, Dr. Jeremy Baham, Dr. Judy Bonner, Dr. Timothy Chamblee, Dr. Cody Coyne, Mr. Jeff Davis, Mr. Kevin Edelblute, Ms. Lesia Ervin, Dr. Bill Herndon, Ms. Tamara Gibson, Mr. Brandon Jolly, Mr. Straton Karatassos, Ms. Tyler McMurray, Mr. Mike Rackley, Ms. Judy Spencer, Ms. Amy Tuck, and Mr. Jim Laird.

Dr. Bonner presented a revision to AOP 12.29, Undergraduate Entrance Requirements. This policy establishes an understanding of the university's undergraduate entrance requirements as defined by the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL). This revision further aligns the policy with IHL's requirements, and also adds the Partnership Pathway program at the Meridian Campus to the policy. The Council recommended approval.

Mr. Edelblute presented a revision to OP 62.08, Credit/Debit Card Processing. This policy provides guidance to departments that process credit/debit card payments for university business. This revision aligns the policy with the requirements of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). The Council recommended approval.

Mr. Edelblute presented OP 62.09, Security of Card Payment Devices. This new policy provides additional guidance to units that process credit/debit card payments using physical payment devices to ensure the payment devices are secure and regularly inspected to avoid the possibility of tampering in compliance. This revision further aligns university policy with the requirements of the PCI DSS. The Council recommended approval.

Mr. Edelblute presented OP 62.10, Safeguarding Cardholder Data (CHD). This new policy provides additional guidance for all credit/debit card processing activities to ensure cardholder data is safely and securely handled in compliance. This revision further aligns university policy with the requirements of the PCI DSS. The Council recommended approval.

Ms. Tuck presented a revision to OP 95.501, Traffic and Parking Rules and Regulations. This policy outlines the rules and regulations for traffic and parking on campus in accordance with the rules and regulations enacted by the IHL Board of Trustees. This revision makes minor, non-substantive changes to the policy. The Council recommended approval.
