Executive Council met at 1:30 p.m. at 611 Allen Hall. Present were Dr. Mark Keenum, presiding, Dr. Jerry Gilbert, Dr. Greg Bohach, Mr. Bill Broyles, Mr. Don Zant, Ms. Amy Tuck, Dr. Drew Hamilton, Mr. Scott Wetherbee, Dr. Jerry Emison, Mr. John Rush, Mr. Mike Rackley, Ms. Natalie Ray, Mr. Michael Hogan, Ms. Joan Lucas, Mr. Joe Farris, and Ms. Lesia Ervin, Ms. Judy Spencer, and Mr. Brett Harris.

Dr. Gilbert and Ms. Spencer presented for approval Human Resources Management Policy 60-416, Conflict of Interest/Ethics. The policy requires university employees to comply with applicable ethics in government laws that prohibit involvement in university transactions in which the employee or a relative has a financial interest or a prospect of employment, among other limitations. The council recommended approval.

Mr. Hogan reported on the outcome of recent Student Association officer elections and introduced 2014-15 president-elect Brett Harris. President Keenum commended Mr. Hogan on his service as president during 2013-14.
