Executive Council met at 1:30 p.m. in 611 Allen Hall. Present were Dr. Mark Keenum, presiding, Dr. Peter Rabideau, Dr. Mary Alexander, Dr. Glenn Steele, Wayne Bland, Dr. Melissa Mixon, Blake Jeter, Dr. Hart Bailey, Dr. Bill Kibler, John Rush, Ann Carr, Sam Manning, Julie Fulgham,Don Zant, Joe Farris, and Charlie Guest.

Dr. Alexander and the vice presidents presented progress reports on implementation of the MSU Strategic Diversity Plan. A completed report will be submitted to IHL during the fall.

Mr. Zant presented for review and approval Operating Policy 01.07, 'Whistleblower' Policy, designed to protect any employee who makes a good faith disclosure of suspected wrongful conduct. Dr. Kibler presented for approval a revised version of Operating Policy 01.04,Emergency Operations. The changes consisted of editorial updates. The council recommended approval.
