Executive Council met at 11 a.m. in 611 Allen Hall. Present were Dr. Peter Rabideau, presiding, Dr. Vance Watson, Dr. Jimmy Abraham, Mike Harris, Dr. Bill Kibler, J. R. Love, Dr. Bob Wolverton, Dr. Kirk Schulz, and Mike McGrevey, Charles Guest, Don Zant, Dr. Mary Alexander, Joe Farris, Dr. Jerry Gilbert, Julie Fulgham, and Jeremy Johnson.

Outgoing Student Association President J. R. Love introduced his recently elected successor, Jeremy Johnson.

Dr. Kibler presented for approval Operating Policy 91:179, Senior Citizen Tuition Waivers. The policy allows Mississippi residents 60 or over to take two on-campus courses per semester on a space-available basis without paying tuition, for a maximum of 18 credit hours per calendar year. Courses offered through the Division of Academic Outreach and Continuing Education and the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree program are excluded. The council recommended approval.
