Dr. Kibler presented for review Operating Policy 91.175, Health Insurance and Repatriation Insurance for International Students. The university is required by federal law to require international students to have insurance. MSU previously offered the option to acquire insurance other than the plan offered through the university. The revised policy will require all students to use the MSU negotiated plan, which is available in two options. Students who have employer-provided insurance are exempt from the requirement.
