Executive Council met at 11 a.m. at 611 Allen Hall. Present were Dr. David Cole, presiding, Dr. Euel Coats, Dr. Roy Ruby, Dr. Robert Altenkirch, Dr. Rodney Foil, Joe Farris, Larry Templeton, Ms. Leah Norman, Bill Broyles, Brad Sweet, Dr. Melvin Ray, Charles Guest, Dr. R.D. Ikenberry, Ms. Ann Bell, Steve Smith, Dr. Kevin Armstrong, Mike Rackley, and Danny Kemp.

Ms. Bell and Steve Smith, compensation consultant of Buck Consultants, outlined a proposed compensation study and planning project and that would lead to an improved pay policy and salary structure.

Dr. Altenkirch and Dr. Armstrong discussed a proposed approach to providing centralized instructional courseware development.

The remaining agenda items were deferred until the next meeting.
