A Ring to Remember
Former MSU women’s basketball stars Roshunda Johnson, left, and Blair Schaefer, right present MSU President Mark E. Keenum with a 2018 National Finalist ring in February to commemorate the Bulldogs’ historic 2017-18 season. Led by four seniors in the starting lineup, including Johnson and Schaefer, MSU completed a perfect 30-0 regular season and claimed the university’s first SEC championship in a women’s team sport. In the NCAA Tournament, the Bulldogs won the Kansas City Regional and advanced to the national championship game for the second consecutive year.
