MSU football legend Walt Harris inducted into the MSU "Ring of Honor"

MSU President Mark E. Keenum and Athletic Director John Cohen congratulate Mississippi State football legend Walt Harris on being inducted into the MSU “Ring of Honor” at Davis Wade Stadium during the university’s home football game against Arkansas. Joined by his family for the recognition, Harris is one of the most prolific cornerbacks in SEC history, having started 24 straight games for MSU from 1992-95 and setting the school record for career interceptions with 16. He earned All-SEC honors three times at MSU before being drafted in the first round of the 1996 NFL Draft. He spent 13 seasons playing in the NFL for the Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, Washington Redskins and San Francisco 49ers.
