MSU football legend Art Davis inducted into the “Ring of Honor”

Keenum, second from left, congratulate MSU football legend Art Davis on his induction into the Bulldogs’ “Ring of Honor” during halftime of the Nov. 17 MSU vs. Arkansas game at Davis Wade Stadium. Joined by his family, Davis was an elite two-way player for the Bulldogs from 1952-55. The Clarksdale native’s NFL career was cut short due to a knee injury, but his efforts were honored with 1971 MSU Sports Hall of Fame and 1981 Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame inductions.
