MSU President Mark E. Keenum speaks to Oak Hall residents following a Sunday evening fire on the third floor of the residence hall. No injuries occurred from the fire, and only one room had fire damage, but approximately 30 rooms had water damage. MSU provided temporary housing for those impacted. In addition to temporary housing for Oak Hall students impacted by the fire, Keenum said academic accommodations and other assistance would be provided and that university leaders “will do everything we can to help students deal with this challenge.”
