Officially kicking off the 2018-19 academic year at Mississippi State University, President Mark E. Keenum proudly rings his cowbell to welcome back students at this annual pep rally held in August. The Famous Maroon Band, spirit groups and Bully mascot make appearances each year, while free T-shirts and MSU ice cream are offered to those in attendance.
