MSU President Mark E. Keenum (far left) congratulates the 2017 MSU Diversity Award winners during a March 23 campus ceremony. The Diversity Awards, presented by the President’s Commission on the Status of Minorities, recognize MSU students, faculty and staff for taking actions that enhance campus diversity. During the ceremony, Keenum thanked this year’s honorees for all they have done to help make MSU a better place. The 2017 Diversity Award winners are, from left, Roy Jafari, a doctoral student in industrial and systems engineering; Deborah Jackson, assistant professor in the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Foundations; Bailey McDaniel, a senior criminology major from Corinth; and Scott Willard, associate dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
