U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker delivered the keynote address for the Oct. 16 grand opening of the Mississippi State University Science and Technology Center at NASA's John C. Stennis Space Center in Hancock County. Dr. Keenum noted that the new $9-million facility funded by NOAA carries on a long tradition of science-based education and research by Mississippi State on the Coast.
